Mohammed Abdulla - Managing Director Techsurrance (PTY) Ltd

Mohammed is a highly accomplished Chartered Accountant (SAICA) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) professional, bolstered by a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management Practice (with distinction) from Henley Business School. With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years, he offers unparalleled expertise in external and internal audit, risk management, governance, IT advisory and consulting, and cybersecurity. His strategic vision is rooted in a deep understanding of IT’s transformative power, cultivated from his early consulting career.

His tenure at EY saw him spearhead global ERP implementations, complex project consulting, and data-driven solutions, including leading impactful big data reviews that delivered actionable business insights. As a key member of EY’s Global Methodology team in the USA, he significantly enhanced IT Audit, Data Analytics, and Project Management methodologies.

Mohammed is a sought-after authority, delivering expert training on IT Audit 101 (for non-IT Auditors), ERP Methodology, and Data Analytics. His 12+ years at the Woolworths Group, where he led internal audit and fraud divisions across multiple continents, demonstrate his ability to optimize assurance frameworks, achieving significant cost savings through strategic integration with external audit and a more efficient combined assurance model.

 His expertise extends to cybersecurity assessments and operational technology security solutions, driven by a commitment to mitigating operational risks. He has provided strategic counsel on critical project and process governance for global transformation projects and developed innovative tools to streamline business solutions. A recognized leader in digital transformation, Mohammed excels in integrating digital and business strategies, with proven success in RPA and Artificial Intelligence implementations.

Khaleed Kamedien – Director Techsurrance (PTY) Ltd

Highly skilled, competent and qualified professional with a strong pedigree in Data Analytics, IT Auditing and Consulting, Governance (IT and Data) and Risk management (IT and Data) within the Financial Services, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas and Education sectors. Previously held a role as Lead: IT Audit, Strategic Projects and Data Analytics role within the Internal Audit Department of the Clicks Group. Before this, he spent time at EY as Senior Manager in Risk and Advisory and 20 years as a Senior Audit Manager at Old Mutual South Africa, where I was responsible for managing IT Audit and Data functions, focusing on IT and Data

 Governance Reviews, IT/IS audit and cybersecurity reviews, both locally and internationally. He holds a business qualification, the Management Advanced Programme (MAP) from WITS Business School, Is Certified in ISO27001, and is a Certified Project Manager and ITIL practitioner, with over 30 years of industry experience. 

He offers a combination of risk assessments of Cybersecurity, IT and Data while strong in IT auditing, IT governance, Data Privacy, Business Continuity Management (BCM), Strategic Projects and the Cybersecurity arena. Heavily experienced in information security, data migration and the identification of risks to the business, including assessment of the controls that mitigate the risks and where applicable identify control gaps where risks are exposed.

 Full understanding of data regulations such as POPIA, GDPR. It includes  reviews and assessment of Group Strategic project life cycle from business case to benefits realization ensuring alignment to the organisation’s strategic goals and objectives. Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership and consulting with a traceable track record for defining enterprise technology strategies/solutions that reduce costs, improve efficiencies, support organizational goals and maximize the technology investment.
